Steny Hoyer: Magnanimous In Victory

"Hey Nancy, Jack - I got your votes right here"
Well, at least Pelosi and Murtha can take solace in the fact that it was close. Oh, wait - no, it wasn't.
149-86
UPDATE:

"How many of these did you get? Was it 86? I can't remember."
UPDATE II:

"I got 149, did you know that? Just checking."
UPDATE III:

"Steny, I think you might be off by one vote."

"One vote, you say?"

"Yes, one."

"Well, I couonted them off on my fingers, but let me double-check my math."

"No, I was right - 149-86."

"All right, thanks for checking."

"No problem. See you soon, Madame Speaker."

"Right, see you soon."

"*Ahem*"

"Leader...Hoyer."

"I like the sound of that."

A small glimer of hope...

A quote from Granny NAMBLA:
"We made history and now we will make progress for the American people," she said. "We will not be dazzled by money and special interests."
hahahahahaha....*wiping eyes*

LMAO!
Man, you sure do love that middle finger Photoshop gag. I was scrolling down the front page of your blog, and I noticed a huge number of pics flipping the bird. It's quite interesting... try it.

I was thinking the same thing myself. And then I found myself laughing out of control. So on some level, it really works.
Backatcha John.

Bad news....Republicans remain vanilla. Boehner and Blunt....2 years and out.
More liberal RINOs lost this year. More conservatives of both parties elected this year. Who the hell ordered vanilla ?

Nazi Lugosi sure is quiet today. Maybe she's just trying to soothe Mutha's poor widdle hurt feewings.

You're not suggesting we start judging people based on the color of their...
...ice cream?
Posted by: Jeff H | November 17, 2006 at 01:32 PM
Right, vanilla is too compromised. It's the fallback flavor. The donks had to take a turn toward the center, we should have taken a turn toward the right, not toward the center.
It's 'can't we all just get along ?'
NO, damnit. No commies wanted. Stand up and pledge to the flag commies, or I'll nailgun your face to your skull and you'll have that stupid grin forever.

That's pretty funny. Just looking at Fancy Nancy with her red lips and finger tips is funny.

I was listening to Michael Savage on Friday (yeah, yeah - I know) and had an interesting take on this taht haven't heard anyone else venture - that this was EXACTLY the result Pelosi wanted. EH?? Michael thought that Pelosi knew from the outset that Murtha didn't have the votes and that this was a way for Pelosi to marginalize him without looking like she was trying to do so. Why? Murtha was a potential rival for power in the House and she wanted him removed from the competition. Wheels withing wheels...
