Hardball or Slumber Party?: You Decide [Mrs. R.]

[John]

Good evening, I'm Chris Matthews and welcome to...

No, I couldn't find any video of this, but NBC's Tim Russert fabricated his ass off on yesterday's Hardball as he extemporaneously addressed the nation vicariously by channeling the spirit of a repentant John Kerry who, according to a phantom Republican, may not exist but still haunts the GOP. (Russert's actual statements are featured below).

The seance began shortly after Matthews asked Russert to comment on the Kerry apology...

Interestingly enough, one Republican said to me yesterday that the Republicans' worst nightmare was that yesterday morning Senator Kennedy Senator Kerry would come out and say...

"You know, I tried to crack a joke at the president's expense. It didn't work. The joke's on me. I'm terribly, terribly sorry. I deeply apologize to all the troops and people I offended.

"And in that same vein, I hope the president will also now step forward and find it in his heart the need to apologize for all the misjudgments he's made about Iraq."

That did not happen, but that's what the Republicans were fearing might happen.

No, it did not happen, Mr. Russert. You were fantasizing about the Kerry apology the way 13-year-old girls at a slumber party fantasize about a dream date with Orlando Bloom.

Knock it off. Liberal bias is one thing, but this kind of stuff verges on creepy.

Buffoonery at its best.

After my initial post, I realized that this PhotoShop'd image (kudos to the guilty party), would deter even the most hard-core pedophile/pervert out there. I think these two mutants have found their true destiny. **snicker!**

Russert looks flippin HOT in pigtails.

Matthews...not so much.

Love it..... Love it... That is all...

I think every American should be required to read this latest tidbit:

Sorry, I'm a dufus. Not sure how to create a direct link to this.

I heard Timmie's wet dream about what "some Republicans are fearful Kerry might say" and thought WTF... Chrissie batted his eyes and pursed his lips as only Chrissy can do.

Ugh.

"...in that same vein, I hope the President will also now step forward and find it in his heart the need to apologize for all the misjudgments he's made about Iraq."

That seems to be THE talking point - I missed the Timmy & Chrissy show, but I heard that same trope on every program on the radio all last night at work, plus at least three shows on Fox/MSNBC after I got home. Apparently, from now on, if a Dim accidently bumps someone in passing, he will apologize and immediately insist that "the President will ... now step forward and find it in his heart the need to apologize for all the misjudgments he's made about Iraq."

Those people are driving me crazy ....

Timmie and Chrissy. ROFLMAO!!!

When one apologizes, one does NOT place requirements on or attacks others. It kinda negates that whole apology thing.

Butch,

Are you trying to imply that Mr. Russert's imaginary, make-believe apology was insincere and/or politically motivated?

The 2 minutes of network news that I've watched in the last month consisted of watching Tim Russert.

I thought I might catch a newscaster asking somebody (anybody) "But doesn't this betray a deep-seated lack of respect that leading Democrats have for the military?"

Instead, pure pain. I'll give TV another chance in 2007.

TO MR AND MRE AMERICA AND ALL THE SHIPS AT SEA FLASH JOHN KERRY IS OUT OF HIS MIND
