John Kerry: "I Was An Asswipe Before I Was A Moron" (UPDATED)
After this:
John Kerry issues this press release:
“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they're crazy. This is the classic G.O.P. playbook. I’m sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did.
Hard to argue with that. What kind of dipshit would accuse a veteran of criticizing our troops in a time of war?
Oh...Never mind. You know, what's so pathetic about this is that even if you gave him every benefit of a doubt and believed he was joking about Bush, it was still a nonsensical, idiotic, unfunny jackass thing to say. This is who the left wanted (and still wants) to lead this country.
Special MORON Update:
I think I speak for everyone when I say that I sincerely hope no one took this guy out behind the hotel and worked him over with a rubber hose. Or kicked him square in the nuts. Yeah, I really hope no one kicked him in the nuts. Repeatedly.
The mouth-foamers of the DU variety think that "Speaking truth to power" means running up to elected officials (like U.S. Senators) in public and screaming in their faces, demanding answers to your questions.
Good luck with that. Oh, and you might want to wear a cup.
Oodles Of Updates Update: Lots more here.
Great Minds Think Alike Update: Sorry Greg.
THE NO-BRAIN ZONE: Chrissy to the rescue!

Two words: Un. Believable.
MORON UPDATE UPDATE: Now the lefty blogs, outraged that conservatives are focusing on a "manufactured controversy", are trying bring attention to the real news of the day:
Republican's Staff Assault Marine Vet
That's right, the dickhead who was yelling in George Allen's face today is a "former marine, law student and citizen journalist."
Now he's pressing charges against Allen:
Again, good luck with that.
MEDIA DECORUM UPDATE:

"And the big bad Republican said..."
UPDATE TO THE MORON UPDATE UPDATE: A Kossack! That's a shock.
LOOK AT ME! (SERIOUSLY, PLEASE LOOK AT ME, BECAUSE MY RATINGS ARE IN THE TOILET) UPDATE: Keith Olbermann informs both of the people watching his show (one of them is from NewsBusters) that Bush is "too stupid" to know Kerry was was talking about him, not the troops. Hey, the man knows his stupid. Thanks to Smitty (-cs™) for the tip.

i think he just wanted to show how putting Senator Allen's penis in his mouth was non-sexual. Isn't this the same thing Bill told Monica?

The Republican/coservative base was a sleeping giant and John Kerry just awakened it.
Well done you arrogant jackass, sit back and watch the damage control by his Democrat cohorts.
It's like a cat trying to bury a turd on a tile floor.
Good times, good times.

John, now I remember why I fell in love with this site in the first place! I've disagreed with you on a couple of things recently, but tonight you are spot-on. This is what you were born to do; to call out erudite, self-rightous, liberal assbags like John(I was in Vietnam)Kerry. Thank God for this arrogant jerk's mouth

Oh, Jeeze, I saw that Matthews clip! PATHETIC! Except for certified nutjob Olberman, I don't think I've ever seen worse spin from a TV "reporter." The fun part was that Matthews was so anxious to get his talking points out it looked like he was soiling himself.
Hardball my ass, this was pure partisan bullshit from one of the biggest A-holes on the tube.

Btw what was Olbermanic take on this?
Did follow Mathews' playbook, because KO used to be on ESPN, I reached for a flimsy sports analogy.

Smitty,
I just saw a couple of minutes of Olbermann earlier and he was going on about how Bush had broken some "code" by "distorting Kerry's words". You could smell the desperation coming through the screen.

Just for kicks, let's accept Kerry's explanation that he was actually really truly aiming his joke at President Bush, who, according to the "joke," became President (which he had to do, logically, before he could get both himself and us stuck in Iraq) because . . . uh . . . he didn't do well in school.
But wait! President Bush edged out Kerry in the grades category, which means that Kerry, by his own tortured analysis, must somehow be even stupider than President Bush and thus even MORE willing to get us stuck in an unpopular war somewhere.
Again, by his own strange logic, this fact makes Kerry one bloodthirsty, war mongerin' sonuvabitch, and, clearly, he served our country for three months during the Vietnam conflict only because he was even stupider than George Bush, and an even bigger failure, and the military was then, as it apparently is now, where all stupid failures were destined to end their miserable, useless, uneducated lives.
According to John Kerry, that is.
So, John Kerry: Stupid, war-mongering, and just itching to get us stuck in a war somewhere if he ever gets elected President.
If he picks North Korea, he'll get my vote, but only because the power of irony would compel me.

Just read the rundown at Newsbusters. There's Keithy and Dana Milbank sans the Elmer Fudd hunting gear. Speaking of asswipes and morons.
Man, I thought I was gonna break my neck trying to keep up with the spin.
Legions of water carriers line up!

Aah, ya gotta have 'em before you can kick 'em.

Smitty, a cat trying to bury a turd on a tile floor.
ROFLMAO. Can I use that in the future ?
About Kerry's words. Even though he intended the insult for Bush, the other 299 million of us thought he insulted our fighting men and women.
It'll take a lot of scrubbing to remove that stain. Then remembering that he couldn't wait to escape from Vietnam so he could take a crap on the men still fighting there, seems like a pattern. Ya gotta wonder just how flaming fugged up the peeps of Massachusetts are, sending this coward and the drunken fat ass to the Senate.

Sure knock yourself out, though not mine to begin with.
This is good stuff, so is John Forbes Kerry his own worst enemy?
Signs point to yes.

Okay, I have a question. At some point during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, one of the well-known evening news reporters/talking heads basically called Clinton a liar. I remember seeing it when it happened, but I can't remember who it was. I remember, whoever it was, said that, "Can't you see that he (Clinton) is lying?"
Anybody remember who it was, and what happened to that person? Anybody know where the video is?
