Mike Wallace Down Through History: The Hitler Interview

[John]
Mikewallaceisadick
"Some criticize his policy decisions, while others feel he lacks flexibility, but as we learned when we sat down with him, there's a lot more to Der Fuhrer than meets the eye. He's short of stature, but shows no signs of self-consciousness, designs his own uniforms and is an accomplished artist. Even his moustache defies convention."

Seriously, WTF? From Drudge ("Developing...")

88-year-old CBS journalist Mike Wallace says Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a 'reasonable' man on Sean Hannity's ABC radio program... Points out Ahmadinejad not anti-Jewish... just anti-Zionist state.

Right.

Troubled by comparisons of leader to Hitler...

Well, who wouldn't be?

Marvels at Ahmadinejad's civil engineering degree, 'intellect', 'savvy'...

And don't forget, he's a snappy dresser, too. I wonder if he asks Ahmadinnerjacket to "Say something in English."

More here (barf bag alert).

UPDATE
: Ian at Hot Air has more.

UPDATE II:

"What a f**king nutjob."

"Ahmadenijad, leader of Iran. Member of a sect that some, like the Ayatollah Khomeini, consider too extreme. But is he really that bad a guy? Mike Wallace has the questions other journalists are too smart to ask."

There's no fool like an old fool.

So what is the relationship between Mike Wallace and Fox's Chris Wallace? Couldn't be genetic.

MIKE WALLACE is a traitor just as sure as anyone who gose over to the enemy like this i just imagine if EDWARD R. MORROW had gone over and interviwed HITLER i mean these liberal left-wing journalists have no ethics

Mike Wallace has the questions other journalists are too smart to ask.

LMAO!

After checking out the HotAir link, you'll note the The Hollywood Reporter's excerpt. From that a truism arises:

Stroke a reporter's ego, he'll kiss your a**.

Amazing that this knowledgeable-looking institution of a journalist can't tell when he's getting felt-up. That exchange also reminded me of Michael J. Totten's meal with Hezbollah and his "friend" Hussein Naboulsi... not Trotten's performance, mind you, but the two-faced thug. It's the exception that proves the previous rule. As is Hezbollah policy, play nice to the help.

Once again it's obvious that some, even one of the once most highly regarded, in the press think they live in a detached bubble where their actions do not have consequences. Wallace the Elder is now a tool for terrorists and he's spreading the party line which will probably end up increasing the number of deaths of innocents longterm.

Way to go Mike! Good get! I hope you'll spread some bonus money with the families whose kin were killed by the homicide bombers and katyusha rockets. Maybe you can sell some of that prestige to buy extra bandages.

Isn't Mike Wallace the one who rather infamously stated he would not alert Americans of an impending ambush because, well, he is a reporter and getting the story takes precedence to saving American lives?

That being the case, why not assume that the man is purposely acting as Ahmadinejad's enabler. After all, what bigger story could any reporter ever hope to cover than the onset of Armaggedon?

not anti-Jewish... just anti-Zionist state.

That is a distinction without a difference – or just taqqyia.

Mike Wallace is just a confused old man - talking to a psychopathic young man.

It’s like the Skipper Jonas Grumby on Gilligan’s island talking to Hannibal Lecter. That’s not much of an intellectual match.

Wallace the Elder is now a tool for terrorists...
With the emphasis on "tool". I wonder if his nickname is Green Helmet too?

...Or you could say that Wallace the Elder is now a "Fool" for terrorists.

OMG Wallace is an idiot! I wonder if they promised him any virgins?

Anyone yet notice that there is an uncanny resemblance to Maynard G. Krebs & Ahmadenijad, (or whatever his name is)?
Separated at birth, I'm thinking.

It’s like the Skipper Jonas Grumby on Gilligan’s island talking to Hannibal Lecter.

You know The Skipper's name? Dude, you're like the Dennis Miller of commenters.

Crap, I haven't seen a Gilligan's Island rerun since Monica was blowin' Bill, and I remember Skipper's real name. What's the matter with you these days, Bob?

According to Stephen Colbert, the crew of 60 minutes IS the Third Reich.

Mike Wallace is Hitler, one of them is Goebells, and Leslie Stahl is Lenny Reifenstahl. So obvious when you look at it . . .

Andy Rooney is still Andy Rooney.
