Yahoo! Beta

[John]

I'm beta testing Yahoo!'s new e-mail interface. It's pretty cool - it has more of a MS Outlook feel to it.

I don't get the photos they use in their promotional ads, though. I guess they're trying to convince you that you'll have more free time on your hands if you use Yahoo! e-mail.

Dgwlk
More time to walk your dog.

Foodstf
Have a picnic.

Beach1
Plenty of time to go to the beach and act zany.

Point
More time to, umm...I don't know...I guess, point at things under a tarp.

Whtrap
Maybe go out and make an ass out of yourself doing that whole "white hip-hop" thing.

Twlhd
I really don't know what this is supposed to be. Are they saying you'll have time to put a towel on your head and test your peripheral vision(?)

Flwrhd
This guy looks like he might be a little tipsy.

Pinch
He might have had one too many himself.

Redcup
Is she drinking? What is this, e-mail for drunks?

Wait a second - go back to that picnic shot.

Foodstf_1
That's the same kind of cup.

Offctr
Look at this. The person who took this picture was so wasted they couldn't even hold the camera straight.

Beach2
Great - now the zany beach chicks are about to fall face-down in the sand.

Come to think of it...

Point
Tarp guy looks like he's three sheets to the wind.

Tngstk
She won't remember anything tomorrow.

Hedges
Now, how baked is this guy? He's trimming his hedges, and there's like three feet of snow on the ground!

Redcup
Haven't you had enough?

Pgy
OK, this is more like it. Looks like she might be shopping, maybe on some little antique row in a quiet little...

Retng
"Parteeeeee!

I think I'll sign up for G-Mail.

Have you voted for WuzzaDem for Best New Blog today?

Comments

I've voted.

For you.

Today.

And several other times this week.

Where's my check?

Now, have you voted for me?

And if you need an invite to gmail, let me know.

Yes, I have, and I encourage others to vote for you as well.

Have you ever noticed how similar the words "Yahoo" and "Yugo" are?

I feel exactly the same about their products.

And yes, for christ's sake, I voted for you.

Hey, I think went to that party lol.

Thanks, John.

Of course, WalMart wouldn't take the fact that you'd voted for me--they wanted cash.

I just went over to Yahoo to see if those pics were p-shopped. Heh!

A vote for WuzzaDem means you have voted early and often. That said, I deserve a little something for my vote . . . you didn't think you would get it for free did you? My disguises don't come cheap [twirls mustaches as exits stage right to vote again . . .]

The dude with the flowers looks like he just left Cindy's book signing.

isn't there a small child with a small animal in there, too? how do you explain away the party rabbit, huh?

That rabbit looks wasted to me - his eyes are almost solid red.

and you should mention how well those images and the promotional text accompanying them don't match.

"sort work messages to your later folder!" = small child, sans rabbit, flashing a peace sign from a swing.

Unaccustomed as I am to Link w-oring, I can't keep from sharing this amazing red-cup coincidence:

Follow the link to the Sean Penn original.

I need to know who has the copyright for this photo ... any contacts?
